What each import keeps

Each import's filter, exactly as the place service applies it.

How the sources are combined

Within the requested radius only, two records from different sources match when their points are within 50 m and some pair of their names, one from each, scores at least 0.8 in name similarity. Matching pairs are taken nearest first, by the distance between the two records. A pair joins the two places its records are in only when the joined place would hold at most one record per source and every two of its records from different sources match. A permanently closed record is not served in a merged answer. On two sources this groups exactly as /v1/ does.

The releases in use

The data is refreshed tile by tile, so a source can serve more than one release at once.

• ODbL 1.0: OpenStreetMap data, and this combined database (a Derivative Database), offered on request under §4.6
• CDLA-Permissive-2.0: Overture places from Meta, Microsoft, PinMeTo, Krick, RenderSEO, DAC and BrightQuery
• Apache-2.0: Overture places from Foursquare (see the notice)
• CC0 1.0: Overture places from AllThePlaces
• CC BY 4.0: Moscow's official registers of shops, catering, kiosks, markets, fairs, culture venues, hotels and pharmacies (data.mos.ru, the Open Data Portal of the Government of Moscow); The SNAP authorized retailer locations of the USDA Food and Nutrition Service
• City of Chicago Data Terms of Use: The food inspections of the Chicago Department of Public Health
• Licence Ouverte / Open Licence version 2.0: The establishments of INSEE's Base Sirene and INSEE's geolocation of establishments
• NYC Open Data Terms of Use: The restaurant inspection results of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
• OPEN-NY Terms of Use: The active licences of the New York State Liquor Authority
• PDDL 1.0: The health inspection scores of the San Francisco Department of Public Health
• Open Government Licence v3.0: The food premises records of the Food Standards Agency's food hygiene rating schemes (FHRS and FHIS)
