Get Favemark for Android
There is no iPhone version of Favemark yet.
Download FavemarkInstalling or updating
Tap the button above, then open the downloaded file. If your phone asks, allow your browser to install apps — Favemark is not in the Play Store yet. An update installs over your current copy and keeps everything.
If your phone says “App not installed”
Most likely your copy of Favemark was installed before it switched to its own signing key, and the new version cannot replace it in place. Do this once, in this order:
- Open your current Favemark with a connection and leave it open for a minute, so anything saved offline — photos, and edits like ratings, comments and names — can send. Then open each note you changed while offline and check it doesn't say “Syncing…” or “Not synced”, and check no banner shows one of the notices below.
- If a photo “can't be uploaded”, or anything keeps failing to sync, it will be lost when you uninstall — write to us first and we will help.
- Uninstall Favemark. That removes only what is on the phone: anything that has not synced, and your sign-in. Everything that has synced is kept on our servers.
- Download and install the current version with the button above, then open it and sign in again.
Already reinstalled once since the switch, and still see “App not installed”? Then it is something else — don't uninstall again; write to us.
The notices that mean something is still waiting on your phone:
- Syncing…
- … photos left
- … didn't sync — tap to retry
- … didn't finish uploading — tap to retry
- … can't be uploaded
- Not synced

Why
Copies of Favemark signed with the old, widely shared development key cannot be updated in place by versions signed with Favemark's own key. The old key meant someone else could have built an app your phone would accept as an update to Favemark; Favemark's own key closes that, and it is why an old copy has to go once.
